Maximizer Vaults
What are Maximizer Vaults and what do they do?

Why Maximizer vaults even though they have seemingly lower APR than if one were to manually compound the farm?

3 main points:

  1. 1.
Selling FINS for more FINS-BNB LP is a net negative action that hurts the project (and your investment)
  2. 2.
Our maximizer vaults are different and creates a positive cycle for the project so that everyone benefits
  3. 3.
All heavy lifting is done for you

  1. 1.
If everyone were to sell FINS to create FINS-BNB LP, this act only serves to lower the price floor of FINS (this is how the algo works). Assuming $50k USD of emissions of FINS a day for FINS-BNB LP farm, that would be $50k USD of sell pressure to lower FINS's price floor. Although you have "higher APY", it does not increase the amount of USD value of FINS you get, in fact you get less, as the price floor is lowered.
  2. 2.
Our maximizer vaults are different from first gen Yield Optimizers. Our maximizers create positive value for our ecosystem by (1) generating trade volume (2) buy pressure on FINS to increase price (3) rewards you better over-time with a really decent APY (due to both FINS and JAWS rewards). All those can be achieved if everyone plays their part to stake the maximizers, and we will get a bunch of assets that generally appreciates in value over time.
  3. 3.
Auto-compounding is done at least 48 times a day, and as usage increases, the number of times of compounding scales. Because our single-stake vaults create buy pressure, your asset value actually scales out better in the long term with more compounds that actually inches the price upwards
To be honest, the APY difference between maximizer and LP to LP is not that much. The biggest difference is if everyone sells FINS to create more LPs. It simply does nothing for your investment as the value doesn't really grow. The best thing that our team can do for you, is to continuously build new utility into the FINS token, so that you can use the token to get more gains beyond the emissions that we issue out in farms.
